This is my second time staying at YEHS, I love the location very conveinent. The staff are polite and helpful. It is an older style hotel but is clean and Tidy. The parking is tight, I have a small car so manageable but there are people parking with bigger cars which makes it challenging and very tight in an already tight car park. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again!

Location was good- property needed some updates and repair. Clean enough, cleaning supplies often left in hallway making it difficult to navigate. Not wheel chair friendly. Overall wouldn't stay again but it worked for our purposes.

The rooms were too small. Cleaning services would leave their equipment in hallway blocking the elevators. Rooms too close to each other. Gym was horrible. Spa/sauna was not functional. Air unit was loud. Random “banging” noises at all hours of the night. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Location was really good for Darling Harbour and an easy walk also into the city. Staff were friendly. We had chosen to stay in the “Penthouse” which was anything but. First we received an email to advise they would give it to us “less for cash”?? When we got into the room, we were immediately disappointed (for a Penthouse). Really old decor, water goes everywhere in the bathroom (no screens etc), beds not made on housekeeping, no plug for the sink, filthy windows (little balcony so no excuse for not being able to reach). In fairness, we did get an email AFTER we left to say they are new owners and are aware they need to make improvements…. If they do what they say, things would be much better.

Nice clean convenient hotel

On the first two evening we borrowed an umbrella and both of them were broken. On the Thursday night and the Sunday morning there was a fire alarm warning,sadly the bell for the warming was very faint,while to announcement letting us know everything was checked and safe was very loud and clear

Disappointing

Hotel was well rated, but that was misleading. It was a similar price to neighbouring places that we'd stayed in previously, but much worse. The photos on the website were misleading. It's dirty, staff are offhand, the furniture is tired and the room is smaller than expected.

great location for the price

great location , few minutes walk to the harbour , 20 min to the opera and main ferries, a few minutes from main train station that network throughout the city. Great price for an accomodation with cooking appliance , frige and washer dryer in the room.
