Way too many long, repetitive, patronizing, and unnecessary instruction texts and telephone calls from this extremely unprofessional owner, resulting with me having to tell him to never text or telephone me again and filing complaint with VRBO. Owner expects guests to fill out checklist, strip beds, wash linens and towels, and made requests throughout the week for other things around the unit to be done that should be handled by housekeeping staff, not guests. Owner was untruthful about automatic air conditioning system and wouldn't lower the thermostat below 78 degrees until I threatened to leave and take it up with VRBO. Owner called me a “knucklehead” because I hadn't booked directly through him after I had already booked online in April and couldn't cancel. Parking spaces under building are very tight and hard to locate due to a weird numbering system. All the larger vehicles were parked outside. Owner responded promptly to have issues with electrical outlet and balcony doors resolved. Unit and area are nice, but we booked our next visit with Plumlee Realty for this same building, different unit. Judging from his reaction to any negative comments on VRBO reviews, I expect that this owner will paint me as demanding and unreasonable and will make excuses and disagree with my comments in his reply to this review.
