The Hotel appears to be under new ownership and is currently under going some upgrades. The exterior is being painted and the landscaping is fresh and pretty. We were greeted upon arrival and our check in host was very friendly .We had an enjoyable stay here for 4 nights. It is close to alot of the tourist attractions and very walkable to several. There are two restaurants right there( a Mexican restaurant across the street and a bistro next door. We ate at both and they had good food). We parked our 53 foot semi truck/fifth wheel in the parking lot of the hotel as it was closer to the attractions and in some cases cheaper than the RV parks in the area, so convenient!! We would stay here again.

Room was not clean; bottle lids left in the shower lets me know that it was not cleaned before arrival; no towels or soap in the room; the blanket/comforter had burn holes in it; at 8:00 am breakfast was still not served; the best part was the location and the restaurant next door; I would advise another hotel

From the outside the property doesn’t look bad at all. But from inside it’s a disaster. The service was amazing and the front desk person was very kind and helpful. The room was just not it. The door seemed broken and I had trouble just opening the door. Once inside the room looks like it belongs in a very cheap motel. The tub was disgusting and a dirty towel was hanging behind the door. I slept with one eye open and just felt grossed out.

Magnolia Hotel

This was a comfortable stay for a weekend getaway with hubby. Price was right, parking was perfect. Our sink was stopped up and drained very slowly and TV only got one channel (MTV). Pool was small but refreshing and hot tub was nice.

The landscaping, parking lot and pool area was very nice. The breakfast was great. It’s an older hotel so a certain amount of wear and tear is expected however, the shabbiness on the carpets and furniture was very obvious. The first room they gave us the bathroom needed cleaning, it had hair all over the floor and a dirty towel. We did just ask for the bathroom to be clean but they changed our room. Overall it was an older place that still needed some renovations but we won’t stay there again.

The rugs were old, worn out, and stained. The sink faucet was loose and shaky. The toilet was discolored and rusty. The bathtub was dirty/stained. The windows were dirty and moldy. The bedding was worn and the comforter had a cigarette burn hole in it. The room had a musty smell. The pool was dirty. The windows were painted shut.
