I rented a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. I liked the size of the rooms and the beds, I thought it was nice and had great amenities. However, the lights wouldn’t turn on in the second bathroom, by the time I realised it when we got back for the night, there was no maintenance around to fix it. We were offered at 9pm to pack up and move rooms, but with 3 young children and an arm injury, that wasn’t an option, so we had one bathroom for the night. The wifi on the tv didn’t work so couldn’t access YouTube. There was someone else’s cut off hair in the bathroom rubbish; it clearly hadn’t been changed between people, and, someone’s sock was left in the dryer.
I brought this up with reception when I left, and the girl apologised and took my details for the manager to email me with either a partial refund or discounted stay for another night, however, no one has. Great location for Southbank, but disappointing experience overall.
