This property is accessible only by boat (surcharge) from Ao Por Grand Marina (Phuket) to the resort at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM from May to October and returning from the resort at 10 AM, noon, and 3 PM. The departure schedule from November to April leaving Ao Por Grand Marina is 11 AM, noon, 1 PM, 2 PM, and 4 PM and returning from the resort at 10 AM, 11 AM, noon, 1 PM, and 3 PM. Passengers are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. Guests must pay the speedboat fee in advance online or at the property on arrival. Absolutely incredible stay – already missing it! We had the most amazing time here and feel genuinely sad to be back home. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, with refreshing air conditioning that made all the difference. Breakfast was a real highlight – an exceptional spread with dishes from around the world and so much variety. Both pools were clean with cool, inviting water, and the entire resort was immaculate and peaceful. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. One of our favorite parts was relaxing on the beach and pier lounges – such a perfect spot to unwind, have a drink and watch the sunset. There's also a charming little town just a short walk away, full of restaurants and a few shops, and it's super easy to book boat trips from the island. This has genuinely been the best holiday I’ve ever had, and I’m already planning to come back next year!

The view from our private pool villa was beautiful, however the deck next to the pool was covered in huge ants so we did not enjoy the deck at all. Positives: The room was beautiful and the view too. Negatives: The check-in took a good 40min as the 3 or 4 staff members were serving the other clients who entered the reception before us. My 7yrs old and I had to stand at the reception while waiting as there were obviously not enough seats for all the people waiting. Bad start for a 5* hotel. The shower room could do with more lights or brighter lights as it was really dark even during the day and with all the lights on. The shower room cleaning also was an issue, as being an open roof room, we found ourselves with some animal feces on the bench of the shower, which was never cleaned during our 3 days in the room. Towels left on the floor were removed but not replaced. Some lemongrass oil was also burning in the bathroom on the first day we arrived, however this was never topped up the following days - cheap from a 5* hotel! The main restaurant was honestly an absolute disappointment, always very hot despite some fans installed here and there. The food was honestly not good (we ate much better outside the hotel) and on our last day there, only one coffee/cappuccino machine out the 3 available was working (is it worth mentioning the queue at each machine every morning?!?). Beach is ridiculously small so don't expect to find a sunbed and you'll have to walk much further.

It has set a new benchmark - beautiful pool villa

Ignore the slightly perfunctory greeting at the ao po marina office - this place is incredible. We had a 2 bed pool villa and I think it will never be beaten in terms of view and comfort. My tips: 1. take a plug adapter (no international plug in room) 2. make sure you have cash as some restaurants/bars around the resort only take cash and the atm at the local shop is frequently out of order…. 3. It is easy to take a grab to the marina but the marina restricts grab pick ups in favour of their own taxis. We still got a grab to our next destination but had to walk out of the gate of the Marina The staff were the friendliest we have ever had and knew our names and the food and drink was nice and varied. The view from breakfast is wonderful.

We actually never made it to the property, it’s not made abundantly clear that this Hotel is not on the Phuket mainland it’s only accessible by speedboat and the last boat to the resort is at 4PM. So if you wanted to go enjoy the nightlife Phuket has to offer you would have to rent another Hotel.

The most beautiful hotel

I loved staying here. The ocean view was stunning from all parts of the hotel. 😍 Room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable, lots of privacy even on the balcony. If you have time between the check in/out time and your boat time, you can still chill on the beach, pool, and restaurants, which was cool. The hotel has their own beach access and even offer paddle boards and kayaks to rent for free. The restaurant has lots of comfortable seating next to and on the beach that you can use, even if you don’t want to order any food. The staff carry your luggage straight from the boat to your room and back so you never have to carry it around the hotel. So convenient! The restaurants are a little expensive. I wouldn’t really recommend the buffet dinner, it was pricey and the food wasn’t that good. We were surprised that for the price it didn’t include any free drinks, not even any water, juice, soda, etc. Overall such a beautiful, relaxing place and I would love to stay here again! Would be a great hotel for honeymooners.

The tranquil atmosphere of the island offers a much-needed escape from everyday life. Gentle breezes and the sound of waves create a soothing environment for unwinding. You can find peace as you explore the lush, natural beauty of the surroundings. Enjoying the sunset over the ocean is a great way to end the day. This island is truly a place where relaxation comes effortlessly.

We (family of 4) loved our stay at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai. The views from the room are spectacular, the staff are all very helpful and friendly. We had the best there holiday we have ever had!

The property is beautiful but it's ALL ABOUT MONEY we pay so much FOR THE resort and they couldn't never give a complimentary speedboat transportation the resort is far from reality

The whole resort is beautiful. The rooms are excellent- attention to detail is outstanding. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. The infinity pool is quiet and relaxed with amazing views of the sunsets.

THE AESTHETICS, SERVICE AND STAFF OF THE HOTEL ARE EXCELLENT, THE ONLY THINGS THEY SHOULD IMPROVE, IN MY OPINION, IS THAT THEY INCLUDE MORE INTERNATIONAL FOOD IN THEIR MENU AND THAT THE STAFF BE MORE FLUENT IN ENGLISH.

Amazing place, just spectacular. The 4 bedroom villa was enormous. The only downside to this resort is the food. All the restaurants have exactly the same menu. Just a bit average.
