Check in was a extreme wait. Very well kept grounds. Clean comfortable room, but a bit to high of temperature and could not set it lower. Staff did not seem happy to work there. Restaurant staff was terrible in all places with exception of Raphael in Bluemoon. FOOD WAS THE BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT. Drinks were almost equally bad. Exception was piano bar. Was also told to call zero and someone would be up in a few minutes to get our bags at checkout. We asked three times and were assured. 45 minutes wait. We will never be back.

Antes de llegar al hotel el mayordomo Ismael, me escribe por si necesita algo y que estaba disposición de nuestra reservación, le pedí que necesitan un pastel personal para una de las personas que viajaba en la reserva y me dijo me dejaría en pastel en el cuarto cortesía del hotel por su cumpleaños, eso fue domingo y mi es haría era has lunes. The rooms were great but please note that the toilet was jammed and it took them 3 days to fix it. 3 days to fix the TV as well. The picture on the wall was hung upside down. The rooms are very spacious and great set up. Food allergies- if you have an allergy, which I do, its basically like "screw you". They gave you an allergy card but it really means nothing. I am totally sure I ate food I was not supposed to all week. The dining halls were very HOT! The AC was not enough. The salads like ceviche, egg salad, Russian salad, shrimp sushi were not cool (actually, they were spoiled and I split them out). The hot foods were good for sure. You have to try to the squid and beans- delish. The restaurants at night were very nice. We did not have a chance to try to the steakhouse- we messed up our reservation time and we asked if they can squeeze us in at other times the last evening and they did not even try! That restaurant requires reservations and it was half empty when we asked. The staff are so bad with knowing English. They treat the Spanish speakers a whole lot nicer. Inconsistent restaurant service. Steak place- needed reservations and heard it was great. Sensi- needed reservations and the kids said it was delish. Nothing for my food. Mexican- The menu is mislabeled with gluten free items and not gluten free. Since I did not want to deal with it, I just walked out. French place- over 21- had lots of GF options. YUM. Went twice. Italian- went twice. fantastic.

Ocean blue hands down will definitely see me back !!! Beach front resort 2 big beautiful clean pools with jacuzzi .. amazing food and 7 restaurants all inclusive I loved the hibachi restaurant.. the steak house was ok .. the Mexican not my fav … but the buffet was my best friend when I was there live live live the food the desserts .. mikes coffee delicious coffee .. love all the staff amazing n beautiful Dominican ppl … miss it already.. book it you will love it

The resort itself is wonderful … however staying 4 days and never received room service nothing got cleaned or anything. They would have the sign on the door to receive clean up and they never came but would say they came to clean our room. However, I saw plenty of staff on the stairs talking all day.

Room size was excellent and the cleaning staff took great care of our room. Plenty of dining options. Easy to make reservations. Loved the Japanese restaurant. Wasn't too crazy about the Mexican option. Pool facilities were excellent. Beach was nice and quiet but seaweed often got in the way of enjoying it. Plenty of umbrellas available poolside but none available at the beach. Enjoyed food and drink options available poolside.
