Very disappointed in the room, with very small dirty window despite it being booked as a deluxe room. Will not book this hotel again despite the staff being very friendly. I realise it is an old hotel.

Excellent stay from start to finish. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, both at reception and around the hotel. Check in was easy and relaxed, and any questions were handled quickly. Parking was very convenient and straightforward, which made arriving and leaving stress free. The room was large, comfortable, and well laid out, with plenty of space to relax. Everything was clean and well maintained. The views were a real highlight, especially at different times of the day. The location is outstanding. Close to the beach, cafes, bars, and walking areas, yet still quiet enough to unwind properly. A great place to stay and I would happily return.

Had a great experience at Ocean Beach Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, the location is great, the on site dining options (the bar and restaurant) have great food at equally great prices, and the rooms are spacious. Only "negative" (though it's not a complaint given how well priced the hotel is) is that the rooms and the hotel building are showing their age. Staff were incredibly amenable and when I had an issue with my bathroom, they offered to change my room (which I wasn't even requesting). Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

Our room did not have a view but it was spacious and clean. As mentiolned in other reviews, the room would greatly benefit from a refurbishment (especially the shower tiling). The kitchenette would benefit from a couple of plates and some cutlery. However, we found the room comfortable and we will happily stay there agsin.

The hotel showed a bit aged, however the location, view and the price is unbeatable. If you are want to stay next to coast, I strongly recommend to consider stay in this hotel.
