We had two rooms. Both were of adequate size, including the bathroom. The breakfast was very good and the woman attending to managed the room beautifully. The front desk staff were all extremely capable and helpful. Many good quality restaurants were close by. The cost of our stay was quite reasonable.

This was amazingly quiet given that we were right in the heart of Paris, ten minutes from the Ile de la Cite. Great location and a very cool neighborhood with lots to do. We only used the Metro once while visiting.

A great place and location

This is a great hotel for anyone who wants atmosphere and a great central location. Right away you feel like you are in a traditional Parisian house and the staff is friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here.

Good location. Exterior is attractive. Most staff, except on checkin were great and went out of their way to be helpful. The bed and water pressure were both good. The not so good: the description of the room with a courtyard view was false. The view was a dirty dark opening full of pipes. No AC and we would not open the window. Additionally, the room was tired and extraordinarily small. Not a nice welcome to Paris for our first visit. The desk clerk was not helpful so I contacted Expedia. Suddenly we were moved the next morning to a slightl larger room but with a proper window and view. The hotel blamed Expedia for the inaccurate description and Expedia did refund us one night. The hotel is “tired” inside generally but in a great area.

I paid extra taxes and fees with Expedia when made reservation online. When I checked out I was asked for more taxes and fees which came to 79 Eros I paid it. I should have questioned that. Then the next morning the Concierge asked for more ‘City Fees and taxes of another 29 Euros. No time to argue car waiting for me to go to airport. I refused to pay it and left. Check those fees I think I was charged 2x for the same thing.

We liked that the room had a kettle, some tea bags, a hairdryer, a safe, a comfortable bed and was warm. Unfortunately, our room had no view, but was probably quieter as a consequence. There were only four clothes hangers. A hand rail at the shower would benefit guests in entering and exiting a wet shower.

Perfect location in Le Marais, 6 excellent restaurants within 1o meters of the hotel and Saint Paul Metro station a couple of blocks away -- very convenient to everything in the center of Paris. Room was attractive and comfortable and unusually large for Paris. All front desk staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English.
