My stay at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile was good overall. The room was small but very clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the bathroom was also compact and lacked a rain shower, which I had hoped for. Occasionally, I could hear noise from the neighboring room, which affected the quietness of the stay. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was pleasant.

We had great time staying here. The breakfast buffet is amazing! My whole family really enjoyed the time staying here for three nights. The four of us had the connected room, perfect set up. It’s too bad that we were not upgraded to the rooms that could have the tower view, the hotel wanted to charge us additional 80/night for the request. As the platinum member, we thought that we could get the free upgrade.

A large refurbished hotel. Everything looks new. Big clean room with a king size bed, large shower . We had drinks at the 34th floor bar where you have a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower. Large , full scale buffet breakfast. Meats, cheeses, omlettes, fruit, delicious pastries etc. We are big walkers so it was ok for us, but it’s about a 10 minutes walk away from the Arc de Triomphe- Champs élysées. Well priced for the condition and room size.

The room was in good condition. The staff was courteous. However, my husband and I did arrive early from another country. While we do understand rules apply to early check-in, both of us are Hyatt members. Two guests who checked in at the same time as we did were told their rooms were ready, while we were told there were no rooms available for us. Then, when my husband inquired, we were told we would have to pay $60 for early check-in, which meant there were rooms available. As a courtesy, it would have been nice not to have to sit for 4 hours to wait for our room to be ready. If this is a new way to tell people to check in earlier by charging them a fee, we need to be clear. As I stated, we are both Hyatt members, and we were also told that we have a standard room, which is why we could not check in early. A room is a room. We are very disappointed with this process. Other than this check-in issue, we were satisfied.

Your website said fits 5 persons, 4 adults and 1 child. This is incorrect as when I arrived they said my 13 year old son is not considered a child, but an adult, so they made me book an additional room. This was very upsetting as we didn’t plan to pay an extra 440 euros and made me very frustrated with Expedia.
