The Gold Floor experience is indeed gold! Besides the fabulous lounge experience which included a wonderful breakfast and snacks, the concierge service was above and beyond. They accommodated our many meetings and provided exceptional service.

This is our third time in Ottawa, and third time coming to the Fairmount Chateau Laurier Gold Experience. The price might be a bit higher, but it’s totally worthy. The included meals are nothing less than excellent! Which allowed us to save money with meals outside. Combined with Expedia’s points, every cent was well spent. We’d be back one thousand times! The location is like no other! It’s literally next to Parliament Hill to one side, and Byward market to the other. Subway station is across the street, and gazillions of restaurants around. It’s fancy, but cozy. Staff is always helpful. Yes, all staff is bilingual. As we arrived before the checkin time, we left our luggage with them (properly tagged and identified), and we went for a walk. They texted us when the room was ready, so when we were back, our luggage was already in our room. Come! You won’t regret!
