Everything was good. The shower head needs to be cleaned to get better pressure. The person cleaning our room came on Saturday as my daughter was finishing getting ready, and when my daughter said, she’d be 15 minutes, the person said she didn’t wanna wait this was at 10:15 in the morning. So our room did not get made up and we did not get towels.

Even during the last days of construction, the hotel was comfortable, like a classic hotel should be. Staff was personable and very attentive. My family was in Ottawa for a memorial, and we were all booked onto the same floor, and each room had a personal note of condolence, chocolates and fresh flowers. We were all very moved and very impressed by this thoughtfulness. Bartenders, waiters, bellhops and front desk staff really paid us attention, and made us feel very welcome. The remodeling is turning out very nice, too!

Rooms were clean, check in was good. Had a bad stay as a result of other guess up till 3am parting loudly in the room next to ours. Expressed our concerns to the front desk but nothing was resolved. I think this hotel is aging quickly and needs up grades. The walls are paper thin and you can hear even the softer noises at night. When people feel they can party all night it is quit overwhelming.
