No hot water for half our stay, rude manager Armando. Refused to for no hot water, because they were working on it. My room card was deactivated every time we left the room. No one came in and cleaned out replenished items sick af toilet pause, towels etc.. never changed the garbage. Was a pile of piss filled toilet paper behind the toilet. Promised a reimbursement from the head manager, did not get it. compensate

This place was absolutely disgusting. There was what looked like blood on the floor and there were black things in the bed absolutely disgusting. Im so disappointed. Not only that but we got 2 double beds and had a king size reserved. Check in took almost an hour and i was the only person there. Absolutely ridiculous.

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The first room we were given had stains all over both beds, the tub was crumbling at the bottom, the security lock was broken, hanging off the wall, used bandaids on the furniture, carpet was stained and extremely dirty and hair left wrapped around the hair dryer. There was white crust on each surface and we had to purchase disinfectant wipes and bedding to make it somewhat livable. I also found a few large bugs roaming around the room and there was mold all over the bathroom. We were moved to a different room where it was cleaner, but not by much.

Not worth it

Stayed for 9 nights. Room smelled like water had been sitting for weeks. The next day,we were all sick. We were sick the entire trip. They was a big space under the door so bugs could come in. We saw 2 Huge roaches and a few small ones in our room. The sheets were stained. Would never stay here again. Breakfast only have boiled eggs, bread and oranges.

This Hotel is a Biohazard. There were roaches everywhere. The first room we stayed in was filthy. Blood stains on the sheets, massive amount of hair in the bed. The floors were not cleaned for years. The bathroom light didn’t work along with outlets torn and hanging from the wall. The second room we moved to had flying cockroaches everywhere. We had to pack our things and leave at 2:30 in the morning because of how unsafe and disgusted we felt.

The Maingate Lakeside Resort should not even be called a resort at all. The overall quality of the place was horrible and flithy, as there were run down and broken items everywhere in sight. The room we stayed in was absolutely horrendous and filthy. The bathroom was disgusting and the floor was literally tilting down. The pool wasn't clean, and the hot tub was out of order. Also, for some reason, they wouldn't use keycards as they were out of order. Not a good place to stay at. Do not reccommend this to anyone at all.

I will never stay here again, this is the worse Motel NOT a Resort they should be ashamed to use that word. It looks like a place that was abandoned for years and now trying to reopen. The rooms look like they were all broken into at some point, smell like moldy cigarettes, hard to breathe in them. I felt like I would get robbed just trying to get to the room at night. Some rooms doors on first floor were open at night and had damaged locks, don’t stay here if you want to enjoy your vacation, stayed here for two days and never left my belongings alone in the room, they make you sign a waiver too because they don’t want to be responsible for your stuff.
