The woman who worked the front desk during the day went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable but the state of the rooms and the late night underage partying was out of her hands. The phone did not work in the 1st room and there was a loud knocking sound coming from the bathroom wall. The ceiling tiles were falling down and maintenance was unable to fix it. We were given another room but upon entry we found several freshly soiled areas (bodily fluids) on the furniture. The front desk quickly found us a 3rd room that was clean. Everything was great until the partying started and continued all night. We were woken up several times until I finally called the front desk at 4:40am to address the underage drinking and obnoxiously loud partying happening on the first floor and at the closed pool outside of our balcony window. Management was fully aware and promised that this would not continue the second night but again we were woken up several times throughout the night. Police were notified. Be cautious when booking the boardwalk building and be prepared to be disturbed through the night. This hotel was booked as a Stay to Play hotel for the beachfest Volleyball tournament. Our girls did not get the rest that they needed and it effected their performance throughout the weekend.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel. To start, there was no hot water for the first two days of my stay – completely unacceptable. On top of that, there were ants coming out of the air vent, which is both disgusting and a health concern. The chair in the room actually broke while I was sitting on it with my baby, which could have been dangerous. The light in the kitchen area constantly flickered, making it feel like we were in a horror movie. To make matters worse, it was graduation weekend, and the guests downstairs were extremely loud after hours, keeping us up all night. The noise was unbearable, and staff did nothing to control it. This stay was far from relaxing – it was stressful and disappointing. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Crystal beach hotel

From the beginning of my stay when I went into the hotel room – room 401 king bed with Jacuzzi. I turned the air on and bugs came out of it ants, etc. I did let them know downstairs immediately and they said that they were going to send somebody upstairs, but there was nothing they could do for the bugs. That night and the next night I found ants in my bed and on my food and I did tell them when I checked out the next day. All he said was he’s sorry for it and no compensation or Any remorse. then at 3 o’clock in the morning, there was people in the hotel kids screaming underneath us and very loud sending liquor up and down to each other from the balcony and we let them know about that too. Then at 8 o’clock in the morning was a car alarm that constantly went off for 45 minutes. Overall, I have to say I am truly disappointed in this hotel I won’t be staying here again and that’s sad because it is a good location to many things.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL

I stayed at this hotel before and had no problem at all, that's why I chose to come back here. Well this stay wasn't so good. The air conditioner didn't work and we woke up to ants all over the place. When I went to the front desk counter she said to me we have been having complaints about ants WELL FIX IT THEN! I was on the 5th floor unbelievable. Won't be staying there NO more!

This was a quick booking for the wife and I and we were very pleased with the staff, atmosphere, and location. Staff was and still is very welcoming, rooms were cleaning, nice view from our room overlooking the skyline of the city, and just absolutely satisfying.

This property has TWO different buildings! The first room we were put in had MOLD and rust on the sprinklers and throughout the whole roof in random spots. It’s misleading because the lobby is in the more up to date building.. At first staff was combative, but then became help and understanding, but I had to physically go to the lobby. Ratings with my first room 0/10 do NOT recommend! Second room 6/10
