Great hotel at a good location

Good hotel with a nice lounge (connected inside to a blue bottle coffee shop) it had a good restaurant for brunch (mostrador) and good service. The rooms are on the small side but very well arranged and of very good quality. The location is good (Tribeca, near canal subway close to Soho)

This is a fine hotel. Lobby is lively and comfortable. Blue Bottle coffee is adjacent to the lobby. The rooms are small, but well appointed and enough space for clothes and toiletries. Not sure if i would want to stay with another person. We would bump into one another. I enjoyed my stay and everyone is very friendly.

We had previously stayed at the hotel in an accessible room and really enjoyed it, so we booked again. This time, we booked a corner king room and we were very disappointed. The room was small and it wasn’t possible to walk around either side of the bed. That must be why we can’t see the room in full in the photos. We had to climb into the bed every night from the end of the bed as the mattress was on a riser - it was very weird. The rooms are also noisy as the window glazing doesn’t keep much out. I know it’s New York but I haven’t had this issue in other hotels where I’ve stayed in the city. Setting the room to one side, the rest of the hotel is great - especially the staff in the restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning. The bar and the rooftop are wonderful and the location is very convenient.
