I give this place 2 stars only for the friendly staff and the location to great buroughs. The room is not maintained at all. There was mold in the bathroom and shower and you could smell it. I think there is a lack of ventilation which is also causing ALL of the wallpaper to peel. Speaking of walls, they were very thin and not sound proof. Also, the towels had stains on them, were dry, and falling apart. The double beds were very stiff and very small- can’t fit two thin people. We tried to call the front desk for ice and our phone didn’t work- couldn’t even call 911! We went to get ice and the front desk person had to go into a separate room. We got a good deal on this hotel, but got what we paid for.

Great room with a view. Beds were comfortable and for an NYC room it was surprisingly spacious (not large but not cramped like so many in this city are). Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room service isn’t automatic though so notify the front desk if you do require service.
