I've been staying at a different chain for years in NYC and decided to do something different. I do a 5-6 night stay and will stay at EVEN from now on. My room was so cozy and had such great views, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

This is a great way to spend a couple of days in the city. The hotel is located just up from grand central station and next to the Chrysler building. It’s a quiet area away from the hustle but total access to the subway. The rooms are small but efficient and clean. The hotel breakfast was a nice choice of prepared omlets, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, a breakfast biscuit sandwich, or avacado toast. It was very clean and the staff were friendly.

Overall experience was great!!! One thing I would say is that while the overall room was clean, the bed pillows had some stains and the blankets too. Staff was amazing!!! New York experience was amazing, I really hope to come visit again soon!!

I want to give this hotel a 10 out of 10 for the way it smelled, looked, the staff, and the location, but after seeing bugs in our room on the second night that changed my whole perspective. They did put us in another room, which was a downgrade (one bed) because that was the only room available that night. My compensation for seeing 4 bugs as I was getting ready to go to a big event (so I of course I was delayed because we had to pack up and move to the other room and now I’m traumatized, hoping that the bugs are not in my suitcases) was a credit of the resort fee. Anna the manager was not kind or understanding at all. After calling Expedia asking for a credit for the one night they contacted her and she said all they would offer is the resort fee credit. Very unfair compensation for having bugs in a room and again this is traumatizing because you don’t know if you’re gonna bring the bugs home with you. They did credit my resort fee and I called IHG the next day and they gave me 10,000 points. Unfortunately, I would not stay at this hotel again because even the maintenance didn’t know what kind of bug it was. I have pictures and a video and still don’t know what it was. Thank you Expedia for $50 credit to my account
