Parking was pricey but very convenient across the street from the hotel. This lovely hotel right off Decatur St. in the French Quarter has a welcoming entry space and a great staff that makes check-in easy. We stayed 4 days in New Orleans and this is a great location for lots of New Orleans attractions. Walk to Cafe du Monde, take carriage rides, paddle wheel cruises on the Mississippi, walk to top restaurants, WWII museum. The rooms are not large but are beautifully furnished. Small pool in a beautiful courtyard. Very peaceful.

Jazz Fest Weekend Trip

Check in was easy and since we were early they held our bags until our room was ready at which time they called us. Room was as advertised. If there is any downside, it was a bit noisy but that is to be expected in the French Quarter. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in New Orleans for an entire week. I’m a wedding photographer and I came in to shoot a wedding and then we stayed over the next week to see the jazz festival. This was my third hotel in one week my first hotel was over on Bourbon Street itself nice hotel but the music doesn’t stop until about 3 AM so if you wanna go to sleep before 3 AM, you have to sleep through the music. The location of this hotel being where it is it’s close to Bourbon Street, but you don’t have to listen to the music. It’s very walkable major shopping outlets directly across the street major attractions blocks away. The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and very professional. They understood the meaning of service. The room that we had had a balcony and was very clean and had well appointed. The courtyard made you feel like you were in a very exclusive hotel. It’s very well-maintained with a nice small nice pool very exclusive. I would recommend anyone to stay at the French Market Inn.
