The hotel was just a few minutes' walk from the main attractions -- the Honky Tonks on Broadway, Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena -- yet it was in a quiet area. Like all Hyatt Place rooms I've ever stayed in, this one was very comfortable for our family of 4 (including two older teen boys). There were two queen beds and a pullout, and the bathroom was spacious. The room was spotless and well-maintained by housekeeping. And the included breakfast was good for what it was, with good variety. I would definitely return.

Totally a great time! Frozen in the pool!

We stayed here, late March 2025. Hotel was very clean, everyone was nice and responded quickly to anything we needed. Jeff the valet, was excellent! I’ve read other reviews that fussed about the breakfast being not great. It wasn’t bad and the fruit was great. Try the pancake house at the corner! It’s included in the price, you don’t have to worry about going somewhere else. Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows that were also comfy. Valet was very speedy and helpful. Hotel was so close to all of the big name bars you would want to go to. It’s definitely the place that you want to go to! I would definitely stay here again. However, the heated pool did not feel heated, it was very cold when we were there yesterday! The only other thing was the longggggggggg wait for the elevators! First day wasn’t bad, but one of The three broke, and after it was fixed, it still sounded broken when we rode it. They did get someone back out very quick. Plan to either take the stairs or have. A lot of patience!!! My favorite place for lunch was Friends I. Low places and the chicken salad sandwich was great! I loved going to Jason Aldeans restaurant! We went about 630 on a Monday night and no trouble getting a table! Luke’s bar was great and the salmon was amazing! Say Hi to our friendly waitress that left us a photo at Garth’s Bar! And tip her good!

It was our 28th Wedding Anniversary- we booked a king room - tried to check in early- but couldn’t- check in was at 4. We came back at 5:30 and was told all king rooms were taken and we were being given two queens. They had charged me for the room before we checked in - so we weren’t even given the option to cancel and go elsewhere. They did give us some “comp cards” for the little grab and go store etc., but we weren’t in the hotel to use them.

The property itself was wonderful, excellent hot breakfast that changes daily for main menu items. Room and property were very clean and the bed was so comfortable and housekeeping did come everyday and did a great job. Only complaint about the property is we were on the 5th floor/road facing and since its close to Broadway street party busses, pedal taverns and ambulance/police noise is pretty constant until about 2-3 am. We did not realize at least for party busses or pedal taverns that they would go near this property since away from Broadway but they do. Perhaps on a higher floor the noise would be reduced? We would definitely stay here again and would select Hyatt properties in the future if they are all held to such a great standard like this one was.

The undisclosed parking charge is an eye-opener!

It was a place to sleep and shower. The location is great, and the price was "okay." It would have been nice if they posted the 'absolutely ridiculous price for parking!' We could have stayed at a hotel we preferred more for cheaper if the Hyatt Place had been transparent about their parking charge! So, Placemakr Premier SoBro will be our go to from now on.
