This property is nestled in nature ideal to detox from civilization. The restaurant is limited in service: opens from 3pm to 5pm for small bites and 5 pm to 730pm for dinner. Our cabin 6 was clean, comfortable, and modern. The bathroom is equivalent to a spa. The hot springs are amazing with hot and warm water in different pools and a massive cold water pool on the lower deck. We had nature walks in the morning and evenings where we found water cascades that were true gems. We feel reinvigorated in mind, soul, and body.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The grounds are gorgeous and the views overlooking the lake from the pools were breathtaking. We paddle boarded and the lake was freezing but it was super hot so a quick dunk was refreshing. We soaked in the pools til 10pm which were amazing! We loved the food at the onsite restaurant Chanterelle (must try Calamari, Seared Tuna, Mushroom Tagliatelle and we had steak special all outstanding) and the views by the window are gorgeous! We also drove into the town of Nakusp which is great to walk around and explore get cappuccino’s and breakfast and walked around the farmers market open on Saturdays. We loved the whole 3 days. My cousin went to the spa for massage and facial cupping and loved it. We hope to be back one day.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Beautiful setting, hot pools were nice. Resort needs a bit of updating in change rooms. The accommodation we had was good but dated and could use a refresh.
Relaxing environment when we were there.
We been going to Halcyon since 2013, this year was very different its sad to see the place in this condition, needs renovation badly, painting is peeling and kitchen is in poor condition
Over crowding was never an issue always felt like a peaceful experience but this year on Saturday we couldn’t get to pool because of crowds and screaming kids , seems like mostly day passes
Under staffed and I felt bad for hard working staff

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
First impression - There is no doubt that Halcyon’s location is stunning. It’s beautifully landscaped looking over the stunning arrow lakes. The staff was lovely and super welcoming. No cell service is perfect for disconnecting and living in the present. First glance at the accommodations - super cute. They offer multiple cottages/ cabins and parking is limited at the main entrance depending on the time of day.We stayed two nights in one of the deluxe studio suites. They provide a lovely sitting area at the front entrance of your cabin along with a BBQ. Due to being a ways away from town, we made sure to bring enough food for breakfast lunch and dinner. In the description,
We booked a 2 night stay and ended up having to leave 1 night early as my dog suffered a medical emergency and was paralyzed. Halcyon wouldn’t refund us for that last night. Kinda sucks having to pay $500 for a night we didn’t stay and having $3000 in vet bills and a paralyzed dog. We will still go back as we are frequent flyers and love staying at Halcyon, just a little upset there was no compassion and understanding that emergencies happen.
Enquired the Hotel for the closest room to the Hot Spring. The Hotel replied Queen Cabin as opposed to King Cottage we stayed in 3 years ago. We were given Cabin #5. We're terribly disappointed to find the room was extremely inconvenient and was no way closer to the Hot Spring. We went back to the Front Reception & they were nice to upgrade us to the King Cottage. Restaurant seemed to have changed hands. Food was not so good as before, & presentation was sub par. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
