Family accommodation in Myers Park

The staff members we came in contact with were friendly. Check in was fast and smooth. The room was clean. Only issue is parking. Parking is listed at 55 a night for valet parking. But they do not have there own parking garage. So you must pay for parking either way.. I ended up paying nearly 100 dollars for 1 night of parking but thats on me for not utilizing the Hotel valet parking.

Check in staff was super helpful! Valet was super professional, was happy to review my dashcam footage and find no revving or racing of my car just someone respectful driving my vehicle. Definitely plan on coming back to aloft

The 1st room we were given was filthy, couch was covered with stains, bed skirt corner stained/wet (appeared to be where a dog relieved itself) blanket in a separate corner of the bed was stained and the toilet seat and bowl were visibly dirty. We were given another room immediately, the second was also dirty though not to the same extent. Before bed we opened the balcony door for fresh air air were overcome with the smell of marijuana which lingered long after closing the door. We checked our the follow day. The desk clerk apologized for the experience said that they were making moves to improve the hotel, new furniture has been ordered, and they were going to enforce the "no smoking" policy. Asked that we consider staying another time in 4-6 months. Also advised that since I had prepaid with a 3rd party a manager would need to handle the reimbursement. One of 3 managers was supposed to call and never did. I left similar information on their surveys. I attempted to obtain a refund from Expedia's website the day we checked out and noted that since it was beyond the window I would have to speak with the hotel.

Everything was great (people, amusement park) a little outdated rooms. Overall great.

They charged for early check-in

Parking situation is terrible. It is valet service, it took them 40 minutes to get our car out and another 30 to acknowledge our presence when we got back to the hotel. Room was fine, but the sliding bathroom door wasn’t installed properly, so no privacy- you can literally see a toiled with the door “closed”. Ok for the couples being in a long relationship, but totally unacceptable if it’s a romantic stay or a new couple.
