Overall I like the homewood suites chain for reasonable prices and full kitchen. The suites are good size, especially for the money. There are frequently issues with heating/cooling in my experience for some reason, and in this case the heating system worked well but was extremely noisy. Enough to disturb my sleep despite ear plugs. The staff was nice and efficient. Worth mentioning they also have free coffee (round the clock) and breakfast. So definitely a worthwhile consideration for a stay in charlotte uptown
