For less money, you get the best location! Everything you want to see in Monreal is just around the corner. The hotel is old, but that is not a bother to you, because it is clean and renovated.

The window wasn't super well soundproofed with the AC in but it wasn't such a problem come night time, just a bit loud during the day and evening. The staff was great, forgot an item in the room and got it back less than a week after! Great spot for using transportation; near the Berri-UQAM metro station, some Bixi and good bus lines.

The area was great and the room was nice. The only problem I had was with the game room. It is deceptively small and it smelled like a bathroom. The facilities were down so it made sense to a degree. In any case, great for a one and done but I would recommend looking elsewhere.

So this is a great location, the hotel is a bit older and had a bit of a funky aroma on the main floor and the rec area downstairs, it is good in the rooms and the staff is friendly. The area is decent although there is a few homeless in the area but they are not a issue and keep to themselves. The location is walking distance from most Montreal attractions including old Montreal, swartz's deli, and mount royal so we enjoyed it. Room was clean and comfortable and parking was safe and close

Excellent budget hotel

Very clean basic room, with a pretty uncomfortable desk chair. My bed was comfortable. Separate bathroom and toilet room; both clean. Spacious closet, but could have used more hangers.
