I booked this Beacon Hotel (South Beach) for my birthday weekend (2 days). My flight was delayed 4 times before ultimately cancelled. So requested my refund and went home. The airport refunded me but The Beacon hotel kept my money. Mind you Expedia contacted them while I was at the airport well before Noon to request the refund. We were directed to email the owner as we requested to speak to the manager during the call. The manager responded 2 days after my booking’s check out date and called it a “no show”. The fact the manager called it a “No Show” was crazy.
