Our room was extremely spacious for the 6 of us. It was very clean and had a fabulous view of the city. It was close to everything that we needed and the trams were right out front. It was a little odd walking across the road and entering our room through a shopping centre and using a couple of lifts but the room was worth it. The only thing that we had an issue with was that the heating was only blowing out cold air. After ringing the man on the front desk (who was great), he confirmed that it was not working properly so he then gave us extra heaters and extra blankets which we used for the 2 nights we stayed.

Pros: Large apartment, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Perfectly clean. Large spa bath. Located right next to Bourke St Mall, trams at doorstep. Cons: Free wifi dropped out frequently. Reception only open until 1pm on Sundays.

The property is excellent value for the location and size of room. It has everything you need for a short stay and is super handy for transport being right outside a free city loop tram stop. It has a certain weary feeling about it but nothing that you wouldnt expect at the price point. The bed was super comfortable with fabulous crisp and clean linen and a very welcome extra blanket and pillows. The washer-dryer was also really helpful. Check-in was easy and welcoming. Definitely recommend as a great stopover or short-stay location.

Tim on reception was fantastic. As we entered our 2 bedroom apartment we found that not much cleaning had been done except the beds were clean and redone. Kitchen floor was dirty and food particles still on the floor. The floor had not been mopped. No one had vacumed either as there were pieces of food on floor and even a dead beetle in one bedroom. Showers weren't clean and there was so much dust. Tim came to our rescue. We left so he could do what the cleaners should have done. Thank you Tim.. The cleaners need a good talking to.

Not a penthouse…more like an outhouse!!

This was advertised as the penthouse- 3 bedroom with full kitchen blah blah blah. It was a great space for a three bedroom apartment but that’s where it ended. Spabath - not working (hadn’t been for awhile by the look of the bath), NO WIFI at all, 3 bowls and odd assortment of crockery, light globs blown or missing (big like the service and manager!!!) gas stove top not working and leaking gas that meant flare ups would occur when gas got to the one element that would ignite- fire hazard and scary dangerous!!! The dryer had more hair in it and wrapped around the filter than I have on my head - it made me gag to see. There was also a very large gap between the floor and the wall in the main bedroom that appeared to be wet and possibly why the spa bath wasn’t working. My feet were blacker from walking bare foot on the carpet than being at the F1 races all day in the dust - and mud! Besides being on the top of the building there was NOTHING penthouse about this apartment. Oh and it wasn’t even the building on the map it was a different place around the corner from the check in building!!!!
