Good hotel with clean basic rooms catering to mostly airport travellers(flight info display in the lobby).Excellent breakfast 4am(yes!)-1030 am,check out time is 12 noon.Big supermarket 50 yards away .Hotel itself is only half mile straight line from airport but you can't walk there and they have no free shuttle.We found taxis way too expensive(€27 for 4 min drive),metro too(€ 7 per person for 2 min ride) but very hepful metro staff directed us to bus stop outside terminal 2.We took modern,very clean electric bus # 101 to Barajas main plaza(Plaza Mayor-this is last stop,can't miss it) for € 1.50 per person,,tickets with bus driver,he also pointed to us Avenida General where hotel is located,after 5 min walk you're there.To return to airport do the reverse,same bus will take you to terminsls in reverse(i.e first T3 than T2 than T1,if your flight is from T4 get of at T3 and take free airport shuttle to T4.Very friendly and helpful people at airpot,metro station,hotel,bus and on the street.

Ibis hotel aeropuerto was very close to the airport. Although, I got ripped off by the cab driver coming from the airport. Going back was very reasonable. The hotel was ok. But,I paid too much. I should have gone to them directly. I am unhappy that hotels.com ripped me off!

Convenient

Convenient hotel close to the airport but not as close as other review stated. It's not at walking distance. You have to take a taxi for Eu22 for a 5 minute ride but it's the best way to get there. The metro station is 700 meters away, not bad and the area seemed safe and clean. One thing we hated is that the bathroom bowl was dirty and my wife had to put gloves and cleaned it. This is something you do not expect in a hotel

Room is fine and clean, if simple. The service was not great. Greeted by a bored and unhelpful receptionist. Asked a member of staff about the restaurant being open and was told kitchen closed (even though it wasnt before the closing time). Clearly didn’t want to have to work anymore. When I complained to receptionist suddenly the place was no longer closed. Bad service.
