I booked this Sonesta based on the photos online, and while it looked the same in person, the overall feel was different. The hotel had a dark, slightly gloomy vibe, and my room had a damp, musky scent, likely from the older carpeting. I think the property could use some updates to match the fresher look and feel of newer Sonesta locations, like the one near the Hyatt and Marriott, which looked much nicer. For what I paid, it felt overpriced. The staff were friendly, but the service was inconsistent. For example, I requested towels to be sent to my room, returned hours later, and still had none. I had to go back down to the front desk and wait for them to hand me towels directly. There was also no flexibility with the security deposit policy — they wouldn’t accept cash, which was inconvenient. Overall, the hotel wasn’t terrible, but the atmosphere, service, and value didn’t meet my expectations. I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again, especially knowing there’s a newer Sonesta nearby that seems to offer a better experience.

Staff was all wonderful and so helpful in answering our questions throughout our stay. There's a convenient shuttle for the airport and plenty of walkable food options nearby. The property was well kept and the amenities were exactly as expected

Great location, quite area and vest of all it's less than 10 minutes walk to In-N-Out. My room was great, I guess you need to request room service. My only complaint was I wished the bathroom could've been better. Otherwise, great hotel. If you don't burgers, it's 30 minutes walk to Raising Cane's, Tacomasa, etc. Both were amazing.

Fanciest pet friendly hotel I ever been to

This place is very nice beds are so comfortable. On there reviews a couple people reported sightings of roaches however the whole building seemed clean and I didn’t see not one stain. I’m glad I didn’t let that deter me from staying here. It’s also a pet friendly hotel the neighborhood seemed very walkable to me I only wished to stay on the first floor instead of the second to have a quicker route for our dog. My family and I enjoyed the fitness room and laundry facilities I was even able to make copies of some paperwork I needed for the airport . I highly recommend.
