I booked a room through Expedia for one night to attend a funeral. Within an hour of booking, I realized that I booked the incorrect location and immediately called the hotel to cancel and get a refund. I was on hold for over 20 minutes, when someone finally picked up the phone and told me that there was nothing they could do, that I had to contact Expedia. Expedia was very helpful and contacted the hotel multiple times, with the intent to get my refund. However, Hyatt Place Pasadena refused to provide a refund. If I could give this hotel ZERO stars, I would. This hotel has zero empathy for their guests.

Kind front desk people and the lady who checked us in let us know about signing up to be a member would allow us to get a free breakfast, which we were grateful to receive as a perk. Beautiful and clean from entrance to room. Loved that check out was a little later than typical hotels. Breakfast was okay and a fair spread. Hotel was very convenient for the event we were attending and in walking distance to everywhere we could want to go. The only notable bummer is that the AC in the room is by motion detection and we run a little warm. We were really looking forward to sleep in a cool room and it was warm so we tossed and turned all night. The bed was comfortable but the room temperature definitely was not.
