Book Motel 6 Long Beach accommodation from AU$200

The room was clean, obviously the accommodations were outdated due to historical nature of property. Very interesting stay with complimentary tour.

We were so impressed with the services offered by the hotel, how cordial they were with our family...It's one of our favourite hotels for sure!!!

Check in was a hassle. Was told there would be a $50 early check in fee. Due to this I decided to go shopping. I then received a text about room being available 1 hr prior to retail at check in time and opted out on early check in to avoid having to pay the extra $50. An hour later, I showed up to hotel to check in to be told that my room was not ready but that they would notify me as soon as a room became available. I ended up sitting in my car waiting for an hour before noticing a long line of people checking in and exiting with room keys so I went back in to follow up. At this point I was pretty upset and was told my room just became available which I felt was intentional because I opted out on paying an extra $50 1 hr prior to regular check in time.

They changed my account over $1,000 for security should have been $400. Overdrew my account and would not reverse the mistake. No microwave. The place to hang my long dress was short, my dress was touching the floor. Very disappointed in my stay there. I will not stay there anymore.

If you have a electric car be aware of the $16 per hour charge for a slow charger. In order to use the charger you also on top of that, the car needs to be valet parked. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were nice, but for hotel patrons I think this policy should be a little different. I dont mind valet but i have had some expensive experiences with elecrric car valet. This is a great location.
