Hotel was exceptional. The staff could not do enough, room was comfortable with a lovely view of the river. Super clean and the breakfast was super. Make sure to explore the history of the building, lots of little areas to go and explore within the hotel. Planning a trip back already!

The room we got looked nothing like the one I reserved while it was still nice and comfortable it was disappointing. Then we called and asked them to bring up water and toilet paper and it never came. We’ve stayed here 4 times and this was the not the experience we are used to getting.

We arrived at the hotel and given a twin room which had no view whatsoever! We were then given a room on the 9th top floor which was better apart from a constant rumble of noise from outside our window ! It turned out to be a aircon unit outside our window, then we were moved to a room on the 5th floor. Amazing room and very spacious!

Amazing experience. Good service. Polite staff. Highly recommended. We spent a nice time in hotel which really looks like a castle or luxury mansion with cosy warm nicely decorated rooms, strong showers, clean bedding and towels, memory foam mattresses, fridges full with free beer and water, some snacks. Personally us, we had a balcony window with a lovely view to the garden and river Themes(balcony door can be a bit opened for fresh air). Walkable to main sightseeings and underground. Nicely situated, great history

This hotel is wonderfully situated, and has a lot of history. The staff were wonderful & so helpful & friendly. For the cost ($600 a night after taxes & fees) I would have expected breakfast to be included; the room furniture is a bit outdated for the cost, & the towel warmer & floor warmer didn’t work, but the room was comfortable & I liked that anything in the mini bar was complimentary.

They placed us in a room that was so rundown. The carpet was soaking wet when we entered the room from the shower in the bathroom. There was a fake window with a ridiculously bright light that the shades couldn’t block out. I have stayed in this hotel before in a lovely room but this room was unacceptable.

What a wonderful experience. We were treated like royalty. Such friendly staff. On the day of our departure there were protests so finding a cab was difficult. The doorman walked us several blocks away and spent 20 minutes trying to flag one down for us. Finally he gave up and walked us to the underground and literally accompanied us to our subway car so we wouldn’t miss our train
