In terms of a central location, you won't do better than Ucoy Beach Resort. It's a fantastic place to base yourself after touring your way through the centre.

Tourists looking for a well-known neighbourhood to stay should try Station 3. It's 20 kilometres from the middle of Libertad and has 33 hotel options. We suggest the Mandala Spa & Villas, Golden Phoenix Hotel Boracay, Surfside Boracay Resort & Spa, Alla Luna Rossa Beach Hotel and Grand Blue Beach Hotel.

You may also like to try the Shangri-La's Boracay Resort and Spa, which you can find 25 kilometres away. Or maybe the Asya Premier Suites, just a distance of 19 kilometres from Libertad. We'd also recommend the Discovery Shores Boracay and the Tanawin Resort and Luxury Apartments. The first is 20 kilometres from downtown, while the latter is 25 kilometres away.

Don't shoot through before you've checked out the Bakhawan Eco-Park and Research Centre and Santo Nino Cathedral in Kalibo.
