It is not a five star property not even close lucky to be a 3 star. go to the shanri-la in Boracay if you want to see 5 star. Service here was ok but sometimes made things difficult. could not even work out a transfer between 2 hotels in the same group. no one wanted to deal with it. The only people who did was head office but only opened from 9 - 5 Monday to Friday. Beautiful spot but that could be said for all the hotels in that areas anf there was at least 4 other Hennans that I saw. overcharged for what you get.

We really enjoyed our stay at Henann Crystal Boracay, we’ve stayed here many times, the check in process was great and special mention to Rheanna at the front desk, very knowledgeable and helpful, she remembers us from couple months ago that we checked in. Breakfast selections are great, our beach front view room was clean and spacious. All the staff were very attentive and helpful, definitely will be staying again at Henann Crystal Sands Boracay. Thank you!

Noisy but beautiful

Would've been a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the soundproofing of the rooms. Hotel and staff were amazing but being able to hear our neighbors snoring and slamming doors was the only blemish on an other wise beautiful hotel.

Too many rules for a hotel…

Boracay is stunning, but this resort missed the mark. We booked a “Premier Sea View” room, only to find ongoing construction next door, with noise all day. PS: as of April 2025, there is tons of construction left next door. Strict policies like no smoking on balconies or anywhere on the resort, no outside food (we were charged 400PHP) to bring takeout into our room one night, and towel tracking added to the frustration (900PHP charge if you loose a towel card). Our “sea view” was mostly blocked by trees (and we were on the top floor of the resort), and breakfast was underwhelming (charged 350PHP for leftover food in your plate), and only one coffee per person per day. The beach was crowded with vendors, it’s not relaxing at all. The second you step foot out of the resort onto the beach, be prepared to be chased down by locals to get a “massage” or book “tours”. While the staff were excellent, especially John and Excel, the resort’s central location was noisy. Next time, we’ll opt for the Shangri-La for a more peaceful experience.

Worst Hotel in Boracay

Horrible experience with staff and how their Front office addressed a concern that led to accusations and violation of my own privacy with pictures of me from their cctv being printed and given to another guest. It was clarified later on but damage was done. We were also insulted by one of their housekeeping supervisor Charlie Beltran who maliciously pointed his finger at us while walking by the pool and mocked us with his facial expression that was seen by one of our family member. After 4hrs of discussion in their front office, we confirmed the act on their cctv. We filed a police report knowing that he is a housekeeping supervisor, he can easily access our rooms which left us scared and vulnerable. At least the authorities are aware of the incident so we felt a bit of relief that they can check up on us every now and then. We were adamant on wanting to transfer to another hotel for our peace & safety however the hotel refused to refund us our remaining days booked. So we felt trapped and still worried. Thanks to Hotels.com, they were able to hear my situation and was kind enough to refund 1 night stay so we were able to move to another hotel and experience a better resort before we finished our vacation. This hotel is not worth your money and so many other hotels cost way less but more worth it than this one. Shower in our room was also clogged and their pool had cracked tiles that is sharp and hazardous to our kids feet. Pls be careful and stay away from Hennan!
