After waking up in your comfy bed at Best Western Kilmarnock Hotel and Quality Inn, it won't take long to get to Lancaster (so long as you don't whack that snooze button too many times!)

High heels or flip-flops? However you roll, you're certain to enjoy a trip to Tappahannock, 35 kilometres away. With Warsaw Town Park and the Rappahannock Community College to explore, you're not gonna be bored. If you'd like to stay in Tappahannock, look into the rates at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tappahannock and Days Inn Tappahannock. 50 kilometres to the northwest of Lancaster you'll also find Montross, which is home to the Washington & Lee Motel and The Inn at Stratford Hall. Stratford Hall Plantation and Westmoreland State Park are among the more popular attractions to experience while in Montross.

You'll find some awesome activities in Williamsburg. Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club and Governor's Palace are up there with the best. This regional centre is positioned 55 kilometres south of Lancaster and has a population of 14,000. If you've got time to spare, keep the good time rolling at Bruton Parish Church and the Public Hospital Museum.
