This hotel does not meet 5-star luxury standards, mainly due to poor service and lack of attention to guests. Check-in was delayed by over 40 minutes, and the room was not ready upon arrival. Unlike standard 5-star hotels, there was no luggage assistance or room escort. We had to carry our own luggage and navigate a large, confusing building with multiple elevator, asking staff for directions along the way.
Despite submitting a clear special request for a high floor, good lighting, and city view, we were given a suite with a blocked view and very little natural light. The request was completely ignored. When asking to change rooms, staff initially said no rooms were available, then later offered only a more expensive room with the same blocked view, which felt dismissive and unfair.
Additionally, the room did not have a smart TV—only cable TV, which is outdated for a hotel claiming “5-star luxury“ status. When we requested an HDMI cable or a TV change, the staff made no effort to accommodate and provided no follow-up, simply stating it was not possible.
Overall, while the building may appear luxurious, the service, guest handling, and amenities fall well below 5-star expectations.
