We came to ko lanta in low season and the island seemed quieter than we expected. It gave us a chance to really relax around the beautiful resort based right on Klong nin beach. I’ve been impressed with the amount of staff busily doing their jobs. As an early riser, I’ve seen them sweep the walkways, scoop the leaves out of the pools and sweep the beach daily. The staff helped us arrange day trips, car hire and laundry. But most importantly, they always greeted us with friendliness and made us feel extremely welcome. Our trip included stays in fantastic resorts in ko lipe and ko phi phi as well as ko lanta but it was here we felt and amazing connection to the people and staff. Sak, the manager, was really friendly to us and we had some great chats about life on ko lanta. I also had some jokes with the receptionists including Hah. And Pen, one if the owners was really fair with us when plans dictated we had to leave a day earlier than scheduled. In 4 days we hired a car and toured the whole island in a day, visited an ethical elephant sanctuary which was an unbelievable experience and got some well needed rest and relaxation time in. When we left earlier than breakfast time they made us a simple take away breakfast the night before! If you want to just relax in paradise definitely visit ko lanta and definitely stay at Lanta Miami! It’s a great resort and private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the Thai streets. We liked the location on one of the best beaches in Ko lanta close to restaurants and bars.offered good scooters to rent at 250 batt a day and laundry service.Nice pool but people left towels on bed at 7am and didn’t arrive until 11am.Also non residents were using the pool so was noisy.Nice mace but they need to monitor pool and not allow this to happen .our deluxe sea view room was on third floor with no lift and a view of bungalow stood tops and sky so not great

We found the resort to be clean, and well maintained, but the food being served in the restaurant was not good. The breakfast that was included was fine, but we didn't like any of the food that we ordered from the menu. We also found it a little isolated from other amenities.

Considering that this is a 3 star hotel, it’s really great! Located right at the Klong Nin beach. We booked rooms in the mountain wings, which is located on the other side of the road and separated from the hotel area. Still a good deal considering the price and that the rooms are new and clean, but it’s not sea front, which is probably why many guests stay at Miami. The hotel area is clean and the staff very friendly. The beach is great with few people on it. Only downside is the lack of shade, in the afternoon it’s impossible to find somewhere to sit if you don’t have a sunbed ( have to get up before 8am to reserve one) or want to hang out in the restaurant. This needs to be fixed somehow especially since the hotel expanded the number of rooms by building the mountain wing. The pool area is nice through and I also recommend the massage place connecting to the hotel area! I could imagine coming back but would book one of the sea facing bungalows.

Hotel failed to respect our reservation and Expedia WAS NOT ABLE TO TALK HOTEL INTO RESPECTING OUR BOOKKNG Not sure who to BLAME more Expedia or Hotel August we booked a bungalow on Expedia and 2 weeks prior we found that hotel changed the reservation as they over sold themselves to regular room and Expedia could not do anything to change it Obviously people would think that’s why our property opinion is bad but truth is that property is not bad Food is excellent Rooms are ok Beach is very nice Reception staff very bad Restaurant and bar staff great

Prime beachfront location

A great hotel with a scenic beachfront location. The staff were excellent and were able to connect us with local travel vendors and helped us sort out some of our travel related issues. We recommend checking about room location, as there is a new wing that opened about 300m from the beach, the rooms were all newly done and were nice, but location was a bit far from the main beachfront. The breakfast was good and the restaurant food and service were great. The best part was being able to walk out to the beach and view the sunset. Highly recommend watching sunset and getting a drink at Mr. Love Bar.

Lanta Miami, a quiet, relaxing resort ovetlooking the Andaman Sea. Beautiful sunsets and scenery. Wonderful breakfast buffet with meal variations each day. Staff very personable and polite. Beach area cleaned each morning as was resort grounds. Picnic style Tables under shade trees in elaborate setting in sand. Only issue was very small ants, hardly visible on table tops. Room: bathroom rain shower was GREAT with comfortable water temps. Closet contained a safe, very old combination style, which was closed, locked on arrival. We didn’t use. To conserve electricity, the room key enables power and must be removed to regain access to room. Unfortunately the room is very warm upon return. Low flow toilet requires that Toilet Paper NOT be placed in toilet. A sanitary sealed disposal is for the soiled paper. No problem, as we got used to this requirement! Overall, the resort was Great, and recommended. We would consider for the future.

Good beach location, disappointing overall. Dining experience was poor- long wait times and the quality was subpar- many other better options on the beach or Horizon Rd. Pool was dominated by kids, which would be fine, but they were typically loud and unsupervised. Also, noisy at night. The small black cat that followed us around was nice. The travel agent affiliated with the hotel was great!

Hotel with infinity pool on beach

We only stayed on Ko Lanta for 2 days, and I don't know how this hotel compares to others on this island. This was our least favorite hotel of the 7 hotels we stayed at in Thailand and Cambodia. The service was mediocre, the breakfast was very limited, and the motorbike they rented to us had a leak in the gas tank. On the plus side, the infinity pool was clean and beautiful and the hotel was right on the beach. We walked to a couple great restaurants, so the location was convenient.
