Life in the city kinda suck at the moment? Reckon a change of scenery and a bit of greenery would sort you out? Then whisk yourself off to Kirra and kick back among the gorgeous beaches and rainforest of Queensland.

It lies 890 kilometres northeast of the capital of Australia, Canberra.

Some time in Kirra isn't complete without a visit to Oxenford, 35 kilometres to the northwest. From here, it'll be easy to soak up Warner Bros. Movie World and Dreamworld, the region's most iconic attractions.

Sitting 15 kilometres away, North Burleigh offers some great sights. The Star Gold Coast and Cavill Avenue are popular with travellers. Surfers Paradise Beach is also worth checking out!

Sitting 60 kilometres to the south, Kings Beach is a wonderful place to spend a bit of time picnicking on the shore. Lighthouse Beach also offers visitors some gorgeous views. You'll find this piece of coastline 80 kilometres to the south.

Looking for some time out in nature? Warm up the car and hightail it to Springbrook National Park, 25 kilometres away from Kirra. Alternatively, take in a breath of fresh air at Currumbin Rock Pools, 14 kilometres away.

Make your way to Snapper Rocks and find out what there is to see and do. Afterwards, pick up a snack and continue onwards to Kirra Beach.
