Booked hotel stay with breakfast paid. every time I go for breakfast staff walks after me in the dining hall and tells me i have to pay extra for breakfast because receptionist told them i don't have free breakfast with my reservation through Expedia when my reservation details clearly says I do. This goes on for every single morning.
Access by walking to nearby stores and restaurants will take you to dangerous sidewalk through busy roads and highways while breathing in pollution from cars and cigarette smokes. You also have to walk through an overpass above a smelly canal, that is viewable from a hotel room window in front of the building.
Restaurants on site charge high prices.
I extended my stay another night because my next hotel isn't ready. They told me I can keep the same room at a great price but it will be a different price - but I can't book it through Expedia because they can only give it to me direct at the guy's special rate of $184 USD. I had no choice since it's last minute change.
There were broken things inside my room that were never fixed.
At checkout, I have an unopened water bottle with me that I saved from when I flew into IST given by Turkish Airlines. The receptionist asked me if I took it from the mini bar and I said no. Clearly, it is a different water bottle brand and size. She told me I can't leave the property yet until they have someone check the hotel room to verify if I used any. I waited 15 minutes and after she told me I'm clear.
