The service was awful, with superficial smiles and no substance. Reception staff were friendly, but they didn't follow through on promises. They had us waiting for 2 hours for someone to address a lack of wifi in our room. When nobody turned up, a member of staff said that wifi was down in the whole hotel. It wasn't, it wasn't hard to check. When I addressed the issue with another member of staff, she acknowledged that there was no resolution because the corner rooms like ours often have a wifi problem. We are also disappointed that a deposit was taken from our card on arrival and was processed as a payment. When we paid for incidentals on a different card, we were told the deposit refund could take 2 weeks. However, our bank tells us that a refund to that card isn't practically possible. Now we have to wait 2 weeks before we can address this issue further. Smaller issues with the hotel were the dark rooms and shared spaces. Another issue was that serving staff at breakfast couldn't be less joyful. It was glum and gloomy. Finally, I left an inexpensive ring on the room dressing table, which went missing. I should have put it in the safe but I figured in a high calibre hotel, staff would be trustworthy. When I mentioned the missing ring at Reception, they showed me a picture of the dressing table before and after the ring went missing. It frankly confirmed that the ring was there and then it wasn't. But it didn't clarify who took it. Incredibly disappointing experience.

The large room we stayed was in a separate building to the one in all the pictures - it’s a modern block. This was a little disappointing . But it’s beautifully set out and the shower and bed make up for it. the main club house which is the main event, is sublime . Every room , every bar, every high ceiling. The staff, the detail. The breakfast in the modern part bistro was a disaster, cold eggs, forgotten drinks, grumpy staff who didn’t want to be there and certainly didn’t want us there. We never returned for breakfast for the rest of our stay but sought a jollier environment down the road in a cafe. The rooms are beautiful and the staff in the rest of the club house and at reception were extremely kind and lovely. Ciconnis the Italian was lively and great quality but very pricey for what you get. We had a great stay for 4 days .

My family and I all had rooms here because we were in town for my wedding. Great stay, customer service was perfect - except I will say when we tried to go the rooftop on the left side of the building the front desk man was having a power trip which was very odd as we not only had multiple rooms on the property but also a 30 person reservation at cecconi’s on the same premises so a power trip and attitude was comedic. Hotel guests are allowed there keep that in mind. Everyone else however was wonderful. Serkan at Cecconi’s was phenomenal and the front desk check hotel check-in guy was great too. As I said the front desk at the rooftop not a fan and wouldnt go there again due to the poor skills from a man who works a desk. Maybe should take a workshop class to learn what exclusivity actually is

Soho Kalitesi

Bir saat markasının düzenlediği etkinlik Soho House’da gerçekleşeceği için, ben de konaklamamı aynı otelde yapmaya karar verdim. Soho House’un pahalı bir otel olduğu bir gerçek; ancak fiyatını sonuna kadar hak ettiğini gönül rahatlığıyla söyleyebilirim. Otele girişten itibaren personelin yaklaşımı oldukça profesyoneldi. Hiçbir şekilde “snob” bir tavırla karşılaşmadım, aksine tüm ekip son derece güleryüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Odam çok keyifliydi; konforlu, zevkli döşenmiş ve detaylara önem verilmişti. Kahvaltı kısmı da beklentimi aşan bir başka konuydu. Özellikle menemen farklı bir yorumla sunulmuştu ama çok lezzetliydi, klasiklerden hoşlanan biri olarak bile beğendim. Ayrıca, Expedia/Hotels Gold üyesi olduğum için ücretsiz bir oda upgrade’i de aldım. Bu hoş sürpriz için ayrıca teşekkür etmek isterim. Sonuç olarak Soho House’un otel kısmı kesinlikle tavsiye edilir. Otelin üne ihtiyacı yok belki ama yine de not düşmeden geçmek istemedim. Beklentisi yüksek olanları dahi memnun edecek düzeyde bir deneyim sundu.
