Islington accommodation with pool

Convenient, inexpensive, and surprisingly quiet for anyone needing an overnight before/ after a Eurostar trip. Decent size room, modern look. Very basic amenities: no tissues, no cups of any kind for taking a pill, etc. Obviously no tea/coffee in room. Bathroom fixtures and sheets were clean, but carpet was badly stained.

Positives: Well located if you want to go sightseeing. Also near subways like Angel and two train stations. Very good breakfast in a nice spaceous place. Clean and organized lobby and downstair rest rooms. Good variety of restaurants that are walkable. Cons: the room i stayed in a double and single sized bed. Very very small. Corridor in between the beds fit only one person to walk/move at a time 12 inches… kind of tight. The AC/heating turns off automatically after a couple of hours. A pain during the night Overall it is a good to stay despite the small room

The room was a bit smaller than the image let on, the air conditioning wasn't as strong as stated by the staff so some nights were warmer than others and the air conditioning only goes to 18C at the lowest and 23C at the highest. However, service was ready when needed. Room stayed cleaned. They need smaller wash rags the ones provided were essentially just towels along with larger towels. The breakfast was not really that great it was more so smaller options. Overall this location was good enough for just having a place to rest and keep your things. Other than that I wouldn't recommend it or visit again. It stays true to its minimalist tone. However, there's minimalist and just unreasonably cramped. The basement has a weird odor as well not sure if it was mold or some sewage was broken but you smelled it after leaving for a while. The staff was kind but not all too accommodating nice people though. The location of it being on Old street was a great plus other than the visit itself.

Staff were exceptional and breakfast was fantastic. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Mood lighting in the room was a cherry on top. Excellent location for getting around on the underground tube system

The gym is small, no more than 2 people can be in there at a time. This limited my ability to workout and I booked this hotel for the gym.
