Islington accommodation with pool

Checked into room 562, we had been travelling since 2am so very tired, we enjoyed a lovely steak and the staff at the bar and restaurant we’re very efficient. We have stayed here many times and it’s our go to hotel when Im working in London. Unfortunately this stay was not pleasant at all there was a fan noise coming from outside the window and a loud pitched noise coming from the air conditioning unit although it was switched off, we called reception and raised our concern who sent the maintenance man upstairs to check, he left stating he would report back to the manager, we then waited expecting a call but didn’t hear anything, we called again and the receptionist was so dismissive of our complaint, a manager ‘Marta’ came up to the room and was very rude trying to say it was the bathroom fan and that the window was open, myself and my husband were in our nightwear and the whole experience was dreadful, Marta offered us another room as the noise became very apparent after her trying to justify it, we then moved rooms. The communication, the way it was handled was dreadful. Upon check out my husband spoke with Harpreet who was lovely and very apologetic of the handling of our complaint, he listened and understood.

The room was clean & it was extremely convenient after traveling for 12 hours. Easy access to King’s Cross trains.

A reasonably priced small hotel in a good location for getting around the city. Limited facilities in the hotel, and the room is quite small, but clean and comfortable, with plenty of bars, restaurants and takeout food options round about the area.

Maldron Hotel is located close to a bus stop and to Tube where is easy for someone to travel to anywhere they want. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and courteous and answered all questions regarding for example, close food location, Tesco. Rachel/Nawal/Davina were very helpful and courteous. They were easy going, helpful and were easy to talk and would communicate back to you with respect. Answered all questions honestly and if they had no answer, would try their best. Rooms were good, clean and and the staff cleaned the rooms perfectly when needed. Was surprised to find water bottles and cookies replaced when the room were cleaned. Breakfast was also good and the staff were friendly and courteous. Would stay with them again when I get to go for another Arsenal game as the stadium was 15 min walk. Awesome place and worth it.

Well located, friendly staff

The Hub was a great place to stay for my first time in London. It was central to where I wanted to be and go. I felt safe and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I liked how they treated you as a friend and not just guest/employee. Yazmin specifically was amazing with the service and provided good conversation!
