Lovely location in Ingonish Ferry, can get warm if you don't like noisy AC like us. Overall pleasant stay, and the woman at the front desk was beneficial, and all staff were very kind. Would stay again.

Pros: Amazing view and space outside to sit and enjoy it. A/C worked great. Location was close to the golf course we played at and the Skyline trail on the Cabot trail. The breakfast was pretty good. Cons: With a decor redo this place would be awesome, with fixing up what they have, it would be pretty good. As it is, it would be hard to recommend to friends.

We chose this property because it was on the Cabot trail. We wanted something comfortable and with a good view. The Inn had a homey feel and you felt safe. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The room was homey. We chose it because it was able to sleep 3 people, which it did but it was tight. The breakfast that was provided was excellent with hot and cold choices. The views from the property are gorgeous.

Friendly, helpful staff. Ocean view rooms are quiet and comfortable enough. Outdoor deck and lawn are nice sitting spaces. It’s older and a bit dated but that’s also what gives it some of its charm.

A very lovely old property. We were comfortable and everything was clean but it is definitely showing its age. Very welcoming and lots of communal space on the deck and the lawn. Nice breakfast with everything you could want including seats on the deck to eat with a view. It was quiet. A short drive took us into Ingonish for supper.

Poor Customer Service

The stay was adequate enough but upon checkout, we thought the amount seemed higher than what we thought - mentioned to the person at the front desk that it was booked through Hotel.com and they said- “yes and you pay here” so I paid the amount and then checked my booking which was 43.00 less. The booking had all of our details and provided a total amount (taxes included), which was 276.76. The hotel charged more 319.44. Truthfully we would have stayed at a different place. I am sorry but this was not an over 300.00 a night stay, it just wasn’t. So before you pay here, make sure you check your booking and DO NOT pay if it is more. I was told that the hotel would not issue a refund in the amount that was overcharged. This is terrible customer service on the hotel and hotel.com. This is false advertising.
