Rented the private room, enjoyed music playing dt night festivity right outside my window. Room, bathroom, kitchen and common area very clean.

Great service and room. Easy parking and great restaurant.

Exactly what I needed and as described; in Hilo town, off the beaten path, in a quiet neighborhood, cozy, with added personal touches. I loved everything about the hotel. It was also a Blessing that I was able to book it at the last minute. It had a wonderfully quaint, 60s’ nostalgia feel to it. From the ceiling fans, to the furnishings. Love everything about the hotel. From the freshly picked papayas, to the homemade banana bread, freshly brewed coffee, to the beautiful sound of birds chirping when I awoke everything morning. To the beautiful surrounding foliage and garden. Kelli and the hotel, I felt,was full of Love and Aloha. If the above is what you seek I highly recommend the hotel. Would love to stay there again. Mahalo Kelli and the Dolphin Bay family. I definitely felt as if I was at home with Ohana.

It was wonderful! Staff, service and the food was excellent!

A very sweet, well-kept stately old property that exudes then charm of old Hilo. Check in was easy- note there are some fairly steep stairs leading up to the front door, as well as stairs within the house. I was very comfortable in my efficiency room, and especially appreciated the water, condensation, and diamond bakery cream crackers which were a much needed snack during my Merrie Monarch adventures! A great location and a comfortable place to stay for any Hilo vacation.

Room with bay view was great, views from two windows. Room had everything you need, microwave, refrigerator and few cups and plates and urensils.
