Latitude 26 property was wonderful. Very clean and nicely decorated in the room and around the property. There were many areas to sit and enjoy our time, including on the canal. It is located less than 3 miles to the beach, which is walkable if you’re able. We will definitely stay there again.

The staff was very pleasant. The room was adequate for my brief stay. They would benefit from some room darkening curtains, the outside lights were extremely bright and stayed on all night. Overwhelming amount of air freshener, plus a very large but dead cockroach on the floor my last morning. Beautiful sunset view over the marina. I wanted to love this place but the roach was pretty gross.

Cute and quaint! This property had all we needed for a long weekend near Ft Myers beach in January. Since the weather was cool, we didn't suffer not being right on the beach or on the busy island. Though it was an easy drive onto the island from there. The location also made it easy to pop out to the store to get any forgotten items. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Kitchenette had what we needed. Air/heat worked well in conjunction with the standalone dehumidifier. TV included hulu live tv free but we could also plug in our roku easily. Shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure. Housekeeping was responsive to requests. They had kayaks and bikes for use. Plenty of outdoor seating areas by the pool, in the courtyard and overlooking the marina. The location is across the bridge from the beach area so you really need a car to get anywhere. Grab and go continental breakfast had lots of packaged options (snack bars, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt juice, fruit, coffee, tea)

Overhyped by 500 %

This is a one story strip motel, remodeled. We had a “view” out our window of the parking lot. NO ONE would call this a boutique waterfront hotel, which implies something glamorous. I asked the clerk if it used to be a Motel 6, her answer was “probably “. Certain rooms had a view of a canal with nice boats. Those are extra cost and were booked.

Latitude 26 was such a cute place. Has all the amenities that you need. Waterfront, pool, cute breakfast area, free bikes and kayaks to use, and fire pits by the bay. Loved this place. I will definitely be back.

Amarilys at the front desk is amazing! She alone made my visit to Fort Myers exceptional! She provided help with my reservation, had excellent recommendations for bars and restaurants, and was there for anything I needed. I would highly recommend stopping in to see Amarilys upon your arrival! Great little hotel with super staff.

Charming

The hotel is quaint, Old Florida style on a private marina. Very cute outdoor sitting areas. Continental breakfast is basic. Rooms are Very small - very grateful to have been upgraded to waterfront with a shared balcony and chairs. The hotel is non-smoking. It is too bad guests don't adhere to the rules and thus annoy other guests by smoking wherever they choose. Front desk was receptive and offered to change our room. Luckily were informed the smokers were checking out that morning so we didn't need to change rooms. Free use of fishing poles, paddle boards, kayaks and bikes nice perk. Very friendly staff.
