Convenient to the cruise port but ...

We traveled all day and were a little bit worn out when we got here. Check in went well, people were nice--but then we got into our room and it was soooo musty smelling we about gagged. We couldn't get rid of the smell. Note to self: never again book a hotel based on cost. Period. However, we used the shuttle company that picks up from the hotel and that part went quite smoothly.

The property is very dated. The AC was extremely loud tho did work well. There was also an awful loud buzzing that occurred during the night. Not related to AC noise. We also found the airport transportation service lacking. We had to call twice to be picked up. Which after a long transatlantic flight was not ideal. Our driver tho was great.

It’s a typical Best Western Hotel. Conveniently located not to far from the airport and cruise ship port. Breakfast buffet every morning which was very helpful. Recommended

When the front desk gets aggressive and threatening over a 70yo woman asking for a bottle of water! Then chases you to your room threatening to fight you with the scissors in his pocket resulting in police response. Avoid Best Western Hotels & Resorts and Best Western Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port at all costs!

We waited for o er an hour for airport pick up. No transportation ever arrived. We e ded up having to take a taxi at $30 of our own expense. When we arrived at the hotel we noticed a Best Western bus parked on the side of the hotel not in use. This was a poor start tour vacation. I will never use this hotel again.

Receptionist was very helpful. She helped me with transportation. Also I had difficulty with booking Uber, she helped me with that also. The lady in breakfast area was very pleasant and courteous. Always smiled.

Liked that it was close to the port doc and McDonald’s and convenient shopping very nearby. Front desk told us a shuttle would come to pick us up at the airport. We waited an hour and no one came with repeated calls telling us someone was on the way. When we got to the hotel on our own , front desk staff told us that there is no such shuttle? We saw a mouse in our room. Breakfast included is a joke! Eating area was jam packed and so uninviting. Will not be staying here again or recommending this hotel.
