Nice hotel in great location. Lovely room facing the road so do expect some noise from the trams and cars but didn’t bother us and earplugs are provided complimentary. We had issue with our tv but thus was promptly rectified. Staff were all lovely and friendly and breakfast was very good. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Amazing and disappointing all in one

Staff on reception and waiting on were great, very friendly and welcoming. The food served at breakfast was out of this world. So delicious!! The location is absolutely perfect and we used the tram service daily. The stop was one minute away. The room itself was disappointing and I was shocked to see the ceiling all cracked and brown stained, it made me feel anxious like it was ready to drop down. My husband didn’t want me to mention it but I think it should be repaired so other guests don’t feel like I did. My husband and I struggled sleeping every night because the bed was so uncomfortable. The heating system blew out cold air in the night which we couldn’t work out why as the temp was 24! I wasn’t a fan of the wooden floor either, it wasn’t particularly attractive/ welcoming. I was very happy to have received a free pair of slippers which I used all the time. We also both used the robes provided. We used the free tea making facilities and enjoyed the water and wafers! The tv turned itself on at least once a day at various times including in the middle of the night which was very creepy! 👻

Big room bed could do better

Room was big loads of space however my double bed was two beds pushed together which is never a great sleeping experience. Bar service is very slow as it's not always manned.

Amazing hotel

Since a good stay at an amazing hotel. The staff were all lovely and helpful, particularly the gentleman serving breakfast. We had a premium room which was very spacious with a great shower. The fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks and food which was restocked each day. It is also in a great location, convenient for the train station and everything really. We will definitely come back again and recommend the hotel to others.

A bit away from the main touristy area lies the quiet Hotel Indigo. There’s a convenient tram that goes to/fro the airport. The shopping mall St James’ Quarters is behind. But to get to the Royal Mile is a slight trek. The hotel is a bit of a maze with lots of stairs and corridors; some parts have no lift access. The gym is woefully small and mostly cardio equipment—wish this could’ve been better. Service staff are nice and helpful.
