This spot was right on the royal mile which was perfect for us since we planned to walk everywhere. Staff is friendly and helpful and the place is clean, bed comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Location, Location, Location. We were about half way up the Royal Mile. Everything we wanted to do in Edinburgh was walkable from the hotel or close to the tram. Be clear to read everything about the hotel. There was not daily room service and cleaning but towels and everything we needed were readily available during our stay. The hotel was clean and we loved having a small kitchen and plates and dishware so that we could eat breakfast in our room. Bed was a large queen and comfortable. Location was superb.

Wonderful staff! Incredibly friendly and helpful. Hotel’s location is great: close to sights, restaurants, and the train station. It would have been nice if the garbage room was easier to find (either marked on a map or the location listed somewhere) and if garbage bags were easier to access. It was kind of odd to have the TV located so far off to the side. I can understand why it was there, though, since the kitchenette took up most of the wall space, but it was hard to see the TV from one side of the bed. We were in an accessible room (not because we needed it, but because it’s what was available at check in). I was pleasantly surprised at the accessible features. In addition to the more common ones (lower peephole on the door and a lower sink), there were also what I assume were emergency cords next to the toilet and in the shower, in case someone could pull if they needed help. This room also connected to the room next door, which I also saw as a plus.

This aparthotel is a place you either clean yourself or pay extra to have housekeeping but the cleaning transition between guests was questionable in my unit. Plates were visibly grimy in the cupboard. The glasses in the bathroom were visibly grimy. There was a smell from the toilet seat when you lifted it upon entry. The tv remote control battery needed to be replaced. No change provided for the laundry. One dryer out of service. They advertise dry cleaning on Expedia but they have not provided that apparently since Covid. The front desk was as helpful as they could be, and I appreciated their assistance. It was a great and safe location.

The dishwasher didn't work twice. They only gave you 3 coffee pods for 3 people for a 4 day stay. There wasn't a toaster in the room. The would charge you 1 pound a pod if you wanted anymore. It was a real cash grab!!

This was the perfect base for our 5 days in Edinburgh. Our studio apartment was smallish but had everything .... fully equipped galley kitchen, 2 desks, vomfy chair and great bathroom. The facilities are also great ... the on-site laundry was very clean and easy to use. The staff were wonderful ... friendly and very helpful. The location is UNBEATABLE .... a short walk to the Royal Mile with 2 great pubs 2 minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel!!
