I like the location, and also the staff and service was good. The room was clean but the AC was terrible it was barely cooling. The elevators were a disaster too much traffic, we were at 3 floor and took the stairs most of the time, the rooms would greatly benefit from an update

This was my first time staying at the Hilton on the beach in Daytona and although the stay was ok, the staff was very friendly, there were a few things that were extremely frustrating. I had to park across the street which is already inconvenient but fine, but when trying to park across the street in the hotel parking lot which charges $35 per day, there were absolutely no spots available upon my arrival. I spent 20 minutes circling around and around the lot multiple times waiting for someone to come out and leave to try to get a spot while other cars were doing the same. This was extremely frustrating after a long 3 hour drive to get there. This happened two days in a row. I really do not think it is fair to charge $35 per day for that experience two days in a row. Then on Sunday when trying to leave, I needed to be across the street for an event at a certain time but had to wait 40 minutes for an elevator!! I could not take the stairs with all my luggage so had to continually wait. The elevators were not operating properly and there were lines of people on every floor waiting for elevators. It was one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Very stressful, resulting in me being late for my event. Please have someone from management contact me about this. I would appreciate it. For the amount of money I paid to stay here for two nights, I don’t believe you should have to deal with issues like this.

Location - excellent Pool - Below average - very small. in need of maintenance. Cabana room - ground floor, great location. Service - hotel staff - good Hotel amenities - looks old, outdated, worn Parking - awful parking lot, expensive $35/day, short walk from hotel Resort fee - there shouldn't be any, not much of a resort

First things first, not to the fault of the employees, as they were all lovely to talk to and interact with but a couple of things you should know before staying here. Elevator situation was horrible, during peak hours it was a 45 min wait, not all elevators were working. Building is definitely in need of some repairs, ice machine was down on my floor, 3 day vacation. All vending machines were cash only. No place to buy snacks or drinks after 5 at the hotel. No overnight parking for hotel guest unless you valet. $50 a night. The property was very nice outside and the pool was clean and fun.
