I think Hilton needs to do some quality control on this property. It needs a serious cleaning in the rooms and some of the public areas. Overall, the property looks quite tired and outdated.

Staff were nice and helpful. The property feels and looks a bit worn. Elevators were down during a storm. But would definitely stay again.

The property was great. It does need some repairs and renovations in certain areas, but it’s still clean and beautiful. Breakfast was really delicious. I will be coming back.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel right now—it’s very outdated and in the middle of renovations. The elevators were unreliable; after a 10-minute wait on the 12th floor we had to take the stairs. Wi-Fi never worked for us, and our room wasn’t cleaned or made up during the two days and nights we stayed. The only highlights were the beautiful ocean view and the relaxing sound of the waves, plus the valet car service, which was excellent. Until renovations are complete, I’d suggest choosing another property.

The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the staff. Everyone we met was friendly. We did eat at the resturant there and it was nice as well. We stayed in the North Tower which has 4 elevators, with 2 elevators not functioning at all, one working intermittent and one that felt like you were riding the Tower of Terror. We were on the 10th floor and had to use the stairs multiple times during our stay. We arrived close to 11pm and our bathroom was dirty. I was not about to have housekeeping cleaning at 11pm, so I cleaned since I had to be up early for the conference. Throughout the hotel you will find buckets collecting water, fans operating to keep the moisture down, overwhelming mold smell in the gift shop, fitness center equipment incomplete, both pools do not have a working skimmer and the jaccuzi not warming up either. If you drive a large truck you have to park at the outside lot with large pot holes. And if you have a conference you have to attend, you will not be able to leave your parking space because you will not have a spot when you return. They offer valet, but my truck does not fit in the garage. Also, with so many people attending the conference and not wanting to pay the $50 charge for valet, the outside lot was always full. Thehotel charges for both a resort fee and separate parking fee for subpar service blows my mind. We have stayed in other Hiltons and afflicates and only paid one or the other not both.

How is this place still operating under the Hilton name? Dirty, old, run down. Broken fixtures. Toilet keeps running. Faucet handles fell off in shower. Loose fixtures in bathroom sink. Filthy carpet. Windows so dirty you can barely see out. No direct beach access unless you are willing to walk a 1/4 mile. Homeless people roaming the property.

The elevator wait was super long every time — really annoying. The female bartender at the pool was rude and unprofessional, which made the experience worse. I chose valet parking, which was smooth and convenient, but it cost $50 a night — pretty steep. Self-parking was $35 and still required a long walk. Breakfast was overpriced . And the hotel is falling apart. Honestly, this hotel is a shame for the Hilton brand. You can find much better hotels for less money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It's a beautiful property with nice service. The only negative is this property needs to dedicate an elevator as a service elevator; the elevators operate too slow for the customers without having them used by staff.

Great stay, I went in the off season so they were working on the downstairs area and it appeared to have flooded because of the non-stop rain storming. The elevator was having issues, which required a stair climb, but staff jumped on it and fixed it quickly. In spite of the conditions the staff did a tremendous job of keeping the hotel clean, welcoming, and hospitable. The food at the restaurant and the drinks at the bar were fantastic, so I didn’t have to go out in the rain looking for good food.

I was skeptical about this property with all the negative reviews, I want to say the room was clean , but it really need an update, hotel is old, room/ hotel overall definitely needs an update. When we got there for check in we had an ocenfront reservation. When we got to the room it was a corner room with ocean view but not ocean front, we had to go back to the lobby to go look at all the areas since we got there late at night and we asked front desk they told us no other room available for ocean front and voided the night fee but I wasn’t told when I first checked they just gave me that room thinking I wouldn’t notice it was not ocean front. If I paid more for something I want I will want to know first thing when doing check in. Parking is not on site. Overall is good for a weekend.
