Staff was friendly and quickly addressed a problem we had. An outlet was burnt as if there had been an electrical fire so the microwave couldn’t be used/wasn't even plugged in. They replaced it and ensured the new one was working. HOWEVER, this should’ve been addressed better we ever checked in. Clearly they aren’t inspecting rooms when cleaning them.
However I booked this hotel because it had two queen beds. They are not definitely not. They were double beds. Frustrating because I paid more for this hotel so that we had Queen beds. My husband and son are 6’4” and 6’2” so full size beds are too small. We were there for a tournament and didn’t have time to try and find a new place and lose money on this one. We got in and had to get to bed asap so asking to switch rooms (if there even was one with queen beds) wasn’t really an option either. So I paid double what I would have elsewhere for the same beds. Frustrating that not only did the misrepresent what I was getting but also paid more for what I didn’t want.
Our room was pretty run down, poor patch work on ceiling and walls, mismatched paint. Thermostat was behind the tv so I had to stand on a chair to see over it to adjust. Assuming this is an older hotel. No place to sit for breakfast so you had to take it back to your room. There was one table, very odd for a place to offer breakfast but have nowhere to eat it. some places have huge dining rooms, others have 6 tables or so. But one for this many rooms??
