This hotel is great to stay for convenience of walking to whatever you are looking for. The hotel staff are courteous & friendly. The property is well kept & I felt safe there. Depending on your room location, you may here music & partying but nothing that a set of ear plugs playing can't soothe it all away. I enjoyed my stay.

The Bourbon Orleans is the perfect hotel for a French Quarter stay in NOLA. Perfect location within walking distance of everything on or near Bourbon Street. The staff was amazing and took care of our every need. Only one drawback: Water pressure and heat for the showers. You're gonna wait 10-15 minutes for the water to heat up. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay at the Bourbon Orleans.

The hotel is beautiful. It is well maintained and has a ton of character. It is located between Bourbon and Royal, so you can walk to every place in the French Quarter. We had an interior room and we couldn’t hear any of the noise from Bourbon Street. More than anything else, the best part of this hotel is the staff. They were incredible. They always made sure you had what you need. They were always very polite and thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I found this room to be extremely small, and the A/C unit smelled like mold when it came on. The pool was very nice however. What shocked me also is that the property does not put garbage bags in the garbage pails in the room. The staff was very friendly though and very helpful.

Bourbon Orleans is ideally situated. Its just a few blocks fro. Jackson Square and the Riverfront. Royal street is one lock over, making it easy to avoid Bourbon St.! The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were in a Petite King suite, which is petite! There is barely room to walk around the bed, and there is not a chair, so the only place to sit is on the bed. The bed is super comfortable! The pool and pool area is very nice. The bar and lounge had good food and usually good musical groups. We enjoyed our stay at Bourbon Orleans.

A day trip for family to enjoy the quarter

We were put so far away from the elevator. Having someone disabled it was a very long walk for her. It was a little pricey. But I unde stand the price. I wish it could have been lower. Parking your car is 50 bucks wow but worth it.

Good place to stay. Good service overall. But, the shower had both a handheld and a rain showerhead. However, there was no way to hang the hand held head, nor a way to turn on the rain showerhead - very strange that the plumbing was incomplete.

He's like a butterfly in an envelope

The TV in the room was outstanding. The temp controls in the room seem to function on motion control and are fixed at 73 degrees. We couldn't seem to reduce the temps in the room at night. There's only one sidetable by the bed - not a big deal but would've been nice to have one on each side. Here's the big waa-waaah of the trip: the concierge. He is a piece of work. I asked if I could leave my bag near his desk for 15 minutes and he refused. Fair enough, I just said okay and refused his offers to check the bag with the bellman. He got visibly agitated, threw up his hands in exasperation. He reminded me of a butterfly in an envelope. It truly was nothing more than this incident that set him, 0-60, in overly exaggerated frustration. This was way, way overboard. Nobody needs this kind of reaction at the end of a trip. Not even a big deal, but the kind of thing that leaves a bad taste in one's mouth. Won't go back - mainly because of this ridiculous amped up butterfly-in-an-envelope concierge.
