Venture out of Christchurch and you'll run into some wonderful natural sights. Just 25 kilometres away, Belle Isle State Park is a terrific spot to spend a few hours in the fresh air. We also suggest Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, 40 kilometres away from Christchurch.

Sitting 40 kilometres to the southwest, Williamsburg is a destination chock-full with things to do. Governor's Palace, the College of William and Mary and Williamsburg Premium Outlets are all quite close. That said, Bruton Parish Church and the Kimball Theater are also worthy.

Feel like something a bit more active? For a lively and memorable journey over the region's landscapes, try out some hiking or caving.
