We truly enjoyed our stay at the Evergreen Lodge. What a fun place to visit! I wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night. There were so many fun activities on site, and it felt so relaxing just to be there. The restaurant was wonderful as well. The drinking water was incredible! My kids loved the zip lines and play areas and the indoor games like pool and table hockey. The pool and hot tub looked great but unfortunately we didn't have time to go in. It was very convenient to Yosemite and to Hetch Hetchy. We would love to come back and bring other friends to stay in the family cabins as well. This is now one of my favorite places to visit, and our stay was very reasonable for a family of 5.

Check in was great. Front desk person was super nice and friendly. Nothing exceeded our expectations, as we knew what we were going to get. However, it was disgusting how the pool furniture was so broken and not able to be sat on. Hot tub was too luke warm to consider, pool was milky white, so eww. You get what you get, but the staff was nice. PRO - bed was very comfortable.

The lodging cottages were fantastic. However the management of the overall facility was seriously lacking continuity. At checking in we were informed of all eating facilities on site but not told that reservations were required to the restaurant and the main family friendly dining area (the Buffet ) was not open. When we inquired at the front desk about the buffet they had no idea that it was closed so also have to wonder if they knew that a reservation was required for the main restaurant. So showing up at 5:30 to eat and the buffet is closed and they had no more reservations available at the restaurant (you could come back at 7:30 and see if anything might be available-no wait list etc. just first come first serve) it made the eating choices quite slim. It actually overwhelmed the last eating place on premises to the point that the food and service were compromised. Not really any other choice but to tough it out -accept it-and make it work. We Just expected more from this top notch rated facility. The staff was courteous and professional just not informed about what was going on. They were overwhelmed and did the best they could.

We had the most incredible stay at Rush Creek Lodge—truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the property felt like the perfect blend of rustic charm and thoughtful design. The grounds are beautiful, the lodge itself is stunning, and there’s so much for families to enjoy without ever feeling crowded or chaotic. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail and level of care. At one point, my son realized he forgot his toothbrush, and without hesitation they provided one—complimentary. It seems small, but it’s those little touches that make a place feel genuinely welcoming and well thought out. Between relaxing by the fire pits, exploring the property, and just soaking in the atmosphere, it felt like the kind of place where memories are made easily. Our kids loved it, we loved it, and we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a beautiful, easy, and memorable getaway.
