This was a great place in DVNP! I truly wish we could have had time to take advantage of the resort amenities. However, at the price (even through Expedia) I couldn’t justify more than one night. We did eat at the Saloon (decent but pricey) and the spring fed pool was awesome. There was a lot of stuff to do and the location is fantastic. If we ever returned I’d do another night - bookended either by camping or staying in nearby Beatty. If you’re looking to book and you’ve got the money this is a great place.

The bathroom plumbing, the bathroom fan. Doesn’t do you any good to stay three nights and nobody provides coffee refills in the room. We had 4 decaf when we arrived.

Decent size room but old fashioned Nice resort style complex with swimming pool, tennis courts. Buffet restaurant ok, reasonable price but food left to keep warm and tends to overcook. Not many accommodation options inside Death Valley so expensive for what you get but you're paying a premium for the convenience.

We only stayed one of the three nights scheduled due to National Park road closures. :( But The Ranch went over and above to help navigate with Hotels.com, who was very difficult to get ahold of to cancel the two remaining nights. The Ranch was great and our stay was wonderful! We will be back to see the rest of Death Valley and stay at The Ranch! Hotels.com was horrible to get through to and made it very difficult to talk to an actual person. I have used them for years without issue, but as soon as there is a problem, they are horrible! Have to re-think using them in the future.
